Mr. Tijerina has a broad and varied background in the Oil and Gas Industry, with experience spanning from his early days as a roughneck to later becoming an independent geologist in Taylor County under the mentorship of the highly respected Orval Denman. He went on to serve as a Petroleum Geologist and Field Representative for Sanchez-Obrien/Lobo Resources in Houston, Texas. Following that, Rodolfo transitioned into roles as Contract and Sales Manager, and later General Manager, for Ecolab and Pemex, Mexico's state-owned petroleum corporation. He eventually returned to his roots as an Independent Exploration Manager and Wellsite Consultant, a role he continues to pursue to this day.
Mr. Pablo Kuri leads the Presidency of the Company.
He holds a MBA from Universidad Cuauhtemoc of Puebla.
He has more than 5 years of experience in the industry and more than 20 as an entrepreneur, having developed several businesses including Ecofrutas, Inc. (food and beverage imports), 83 Citrus Grove, LLC (real estate development – more than 50 acres of commercial real estate developed), and Restcorp, LLC. (food services – owns the “Rodizio Franchise”), and 1131 Properties LLC (real estate development – over 150 residential housing units and 50 acres of commercial real estate).
In 2011 Mr. Kuri acknowledged the potential that exists in the oil & gas industry. First, in the rental of transportation equipment for oil companies, and subsequently in the leasing of heavy equipment to companies such as Chesapeake and EOG.
Mr. Kuri is currently developing successful projects in Lafayette, LA. He is also developing the North Leroy and North Broussard fields, with stable production for five years. He also has a stake in the Coachran Field in the Permian Basin, with 18,000 acres and 300 wells. He is currently developing a crypto mining farm in Louisiana and a light crude project in Navarro, Texas, among other projects.
He is currently taking the reins of the ambitious Bison Field project, leveraging the same team that has been used in other projects.
Mr. Sam Avila has held senior leadership roles in various companies, such as Madosa Energy (Mexico), Humble Energy (USA), and SKBB Holding (Brunei). Their expertise spans across energy and E&P operations in numerous regions, including Latin America, the USA, and Africa, with a focus on offshore projects, operations, and production management. He has been involved in key projects in countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, and Argentina, overseeing significant upstream oil and gas activities, enhanced oil recovery (EOR), and reservoir management. Additionally, Mr., Avila has held various technical roles in petroleum engineering and project management, working with companies like Amoco, Marathon Oil, and Anadarko, across multiple drilling campaigns and international energy projects.
Mr. Robert Martin is the owner of Metairie Energy in New Orleans, Louisiana, with 60 years of experience in the practice of oil and gas law in the state. He is the Co-founder of Pledger Petroleum and its sister company, Pledger Operating. He also serves as the oil and gas counsel for both Black Creek and Pledger companies, with comprehensive oversight of all land-related matters concerning field properties. Recognized as a leading authority in oil and gas law across Gulf Coast states, with extensive experience in defending numerous contracts in Louisiana federal courts. Former cabinet member of the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) for two terms. The AAPL is the governing body for operating agreements (JOA) and standard contract and lease forms used across the U.S. and is responsible for drafting the foundational lease and operating agreement forms that are also utilized in international agreements.
Mr. Tim Chesteen is the Owner of Pledger Operating since 1993, with prior experience as an exploration geophysicist with both Amoco USA and Marathon Oil. While in Pledger Mr. Chesteen has dedicated the majority of his career to exploring deep gas reserves in South Louisiana, particularly in the Lafayette area. He currently operates a mid-sized onshore gas field in Vermilion Parish. From 2006 to 2010, he held the Gulf Coast’s highest volume rating for the Broussard Field discovery, which produced over 2,000 barrels of oil per day and averaged more than 60,000 Mcf of gas daily in Lafayette Parish, Louisiana. Currently focused on field operations and property acquisition in South Louisiana, with a particular emphasis on deep gas reserves.
